The Kremlin Appreciated the Influence of the United States on the Possibility of Negotiations Between Moscow and Kyiv

The United States is set in such a way as to prevent the Ukrainian authorities from thinking about peace negotiations with Russia. This was announced on Saturday, March 25, by the press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, on the air of the NTV channel.

“We see that they are literally maniacally determined not to allow the Ukrainians to even think about the hypothetical possibility of entering the peaceful settlement track,” Peskov said.

In this regard, Peskov noted, the special military operation will continue, since Russia can achieve its goals only in this way.

Earlier, the Financial Times, citing an EU official, reported that the EU was pushing Chinese President Xi Jinping to negotiate with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

On February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the start of a special operation in the Donbass. Thus, according to him, Moscow responded to requests for military assistance from the heads of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics (DNR and LNR).
