Sarajevo

The search and rescue teams returning to their countries were greeted with tears and applause by their family members in the area in front of the Vijecnica Library in Sarajevo.

Afterwards, the team went to the Azici region of Sarajevo, where they were congratulated by the Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Fadil Novalic, and the Turkish Ambassador to Sarajevo, Sadık Babür Girgin.

Novalic said, “We sent you off (to Turkey) more than ten days ago. Both you and we knew it was a difficult road. Neither you nor we could have guessed how difficult the task was. There are some among you who will never forget the scenes you saw there for a lifetime.” said.

Ambassador Girgin said, “He called us on the morning of the earthquake and said, ‘We are ready to do whatever you need.’ I would like to thank Mr. Prime Minister Fadil Novalic, who said. On behalf of our state and nation, I would like to thank the search and rescue team personnel one by one for their friendship, humanity and sacrifice.” he said.

“Every life you save is worth a humanity.” Ambassador Girgin said, “You have done a great job.” made its assessment.

GSS FBIH’s Dzenadin Veladzic said, “We have returned from a search and rescue mission that we have duly fulfilled. Most importantly, our entire team is healthy. (in Turkey) We have fulfilled all the tasks assigned to us at the maximum level. I am proud of my teammates that I went to Turkey.” used his statements.

Adil Ferhatovic from FUCZ also noted that they worked to meet the needs of the Turkish people during their stay in Turkey.
